How to create a favicon (Favourite Icon)?
August 29, 2007 – 2:19 amA favicon is a small icon that appear next to a website url in the browser. The size is just 16×16 pixel. Very small. I was wondering how to create that. Then I start searching and found a few tutorials on how to create a favicon. You can use Adobe Photoshop with plugin from Telegraphics installed. I used this one to create mine.
There are many websites that offer the service to create this favicon from image file, and the one that I like is dynamic drive favicon generator. Search engine is great.
